This map is A2 in size 594mm x 420mm on a 280gsm sheet. this print is from a high quality image capture to preserve all the details and colour.
I found some old incomplete maps while researching my grandfathers family. I was mesmerized by the detail, color and lowlighting so I had to recreate the whole map. I gathered a number of maps from the early 1800s as well as modern resourses (google earth!) and drew this map in pen ink and watercolor washes. I used colors just like a first edition in the 1820s would have had.
The map will be posted in a strong postal tube.
